Overview

"When I first began our deck project on July fourth weekend in Texas, not to mention how HOT it can get here in Texas, I did not anticipate the deck to turn out as lovely as it did. My first steps toward the deck were design and layout plans, which we researched on the Internet and found DekBrands as a potential solution for my ultimate project. I soon found out that my choice for DekBrand's "Floating" design was the correct method. I used approximately 60 Dek-Blocks. The deck is a total size of 34'x23'.

My first experience in deck building was not my own, but the second time around became mine. This makes the building even more fulfilling. We had to dig 20 post-holes for the support beams on my first experience. When my research on the Internet found your product, it eliminated the digging, eliminated the hours of concrete work, and provided a solid foundation for my deck. The final touches to the deck include planters, a hammock, benches, and lighting. All combined has turned a bland backyard into a backyard of fun and enjoyment for friends and family. I thank you for your product (Dek-Blocks) and the ease of working with them. I would suggest using your product without hesitation. I have already been propositioned to build another deck for several friends. I am not sure if I can do another one in this summer heat though.
