Dear Deckplans,

My kids wanted an aboveground pool. Since our backyard has a pretty good slope to it, the installers had to dig some of the slope out to ensure a level base. Sitting on my patio, I could see that the final level of the pool was almost level with my back door. That result was totally unplanned but lent itself well to building a deck from the house to the pool. So we built a deck, three decks, actually. I used your plans to lay out a rectangular deck, an oval deck around the pool, and your hexagonal deck as a transition area down to ground level.

We've really enjoyed the deck and have even hosted an outdoor piano recital on it, accomodating about 30 people and one HEAVY piano.

Thank you for your product. More importantly, thank you for your user-friendly website. I sort of knew what I wanted to do but was uncertain how to go forward. Your deckplans were very helpful.
