I have a design for a new 14 X 16 deck that is surrounded by the building on three sides. It extends 5' past the house. I would like to add a walk from the front of the house to the deck. It would be 5' 0" wide and 18' 8" long. I haven't found any plans for such a walk. Would I need 3 blocks deep and then space blocks every 4' ? Would a 2 block race be acceptable for the 5' projection? There is a 8" approximately drop over the 18'. One step should be sufficient. I will await your response. Thanks.
