Home Depot is delivering the stuff tomorrow. Hoping to get most of it done this weekend. I'm adding the fascia board and a 4 x 6 bumpout for the Grill as extras. I built 2 10x10 decks side by side using Dek Blocks about 10-12 years ago at my old house so I think this will go well even though I'm normally fairly incompetent when it comes to home improvement. Next year we plan to add a 16x16 deck with Hot Tub support off the bedroom doorwall and make it a step up from this one.

By the way, in my area near Flint Michigan, the Dek Blocks were the same price between Home Depot and Lowe's but Lowe's was $3-$5 higher per board for PTP. I normally like Lowe's better but I couldn't justify an extra $250-$300 in lumber cost.

Deck came out great. Took about 20 man hours to build on my own. I could never build such a large deck myself using conventional means. Of course I worry about frost heave like everyone else but I think it will do well.
