TOPIC: End Boards
#5624
End Boards 1 Year, 4 Months ago
In an earlier post someone asked if brackets (maybe it was braces) were needed on the end boards. You answered no since the end boards did not bear any load. The deck I built followed the 10' X 10' plan making the deck 10' X 10'3". The plans I obtained for my shed are 9'11 3/4" X 10'2 3/4. I am concerned because this puts most of the left and right sides of the shed over the end boards.

Do you foresee any problems with this or was this considered in the deck designs?

Thank you in advance,

Looks like your putting a shed on deck not on a shed floor. That should work. You should not have any problems putting the shed on the edge of the deck. Just make sure it doesn't overhang the deck at all.
