I am currently planning an 8x10 shed and have never used dekblocks before. I would really like to elevate the entire shed at least a couple of feet off the floor to get it level with the top of a retaining wall it will sit next too. Is this possible/prudent?
I note the suggestion about not building higher than 30 inches. My question has more to do with the grade of my land. Part of my shed will be just above the ground, but over the length of my anticipated 12 foot shed, the ground drops about 3 feet, as a steady downward slope. Can the shed tolerate this situation, not that all of it will be 3 feet of the ground, just the far end.
