Hi--can you tell me what the maximum height above ground is for building a deck with the dek system? We want to build a pool-side deck approximately 4.5 feet above ground. A salesperson at Home Depot said we should not do that, as the system can not support a deck that high. However, there are a number of pictures of pools that seem to be that high. Can you assure my skeptical husband that your system is designed to be sturdy at that height? Thank you.

Yes. The deck will be sturdy enough. If built correctly you will not be able to tell the difference between a floating deck and a deck built with frost footings. The following link will take you to a page on our site that explains this better.
