TOPIC: attatching stairs

attatching stairs 3 Years, 5 Months ago
I have a partial splash deck on my 15' pool and have 3 five step premade stringers that are about 6" to short of the ground. Now i am also planning on adding a landing at the bottom of stairs to get to the cement patio. Can I and how do I install the steps or better yet stringers to the landing? I know that they would normally sit on cement pads but setting the stringers on top of my landing seems to be the best idea for my situatin and design. The tops of my stringers are going to be attatched to the splash deck to a 2x6 using joist hangers just not sure what to use to attatch to landing also should the "feet" of the stringer sit on my decking or use something more like on a 2x6 then start with the decking?
Thanks for any help and hope I explained my situation and questions clearly!

I understand that the stairs will be 6" short of the ground. After that I got lost. Sounds like you need to get those stairs to reach the ground or have the ground reach up to the stairs. you could make a small wooden landing at the bottom of the stairs. If you did it right you could make it look like the rest of the steps.
