The biggest benefit is that you will not need to dig any holes. The floating foundation system is a very basic system. If a block is out of place you can move it. If you put a post in the gound and its in the wrong spot its more work to move it. The floating foundation system uses 2x6 lumber for the frames. This will lower the cost and be just as strong as a traditional deck.
