Using the free deck plan for the 15 X 30 deck. Can I run the decking parallel to the pool instead of perpindicular. My pool man said it would be easier to change liner (folds over rim type) by removing a few boards. Or he said runa a couple of rows parallel the rest to the edge perpendicular of course I guess you would have to add a support board row.

Not very easily. All the support boards will need to be run in the opposite direction. Building the decking this way might be more difficult that what its worth.

The deck support boards are so close together in both directions, could you not run deck flooring either way? On the homeowner showcase there is photos of someones' deck built this way.
