Question about diagonal bracing 3 Years, 11 Months ago

Hi Deckman, and greetings from sunny Central Florida. We are in the process of building the 12' x 12' deck for our aboveground pool. We are using the standard plan offered by your website. Our pool is 24' round. The plans show diagonal bracing going completely around the perimeter, including the 45 degree angled corner sections. However, the step-by-step instructions show diagonal bracing around the perimeter EXCEPT for the angled corner sections. So far, we have built the entire support structure, including diagonal bracing exactly as shown in the diagram for the conclusion of step #11. (without diagonal bracing on the corner sections).
Is diagonal bracing required for these corner sections, and if so, which end of the 2 x 4 should be attached at the top?
Thank you, in advance, for your reply.

You do NOT need diagonal bracing at those corners. You will be sturdy with the recommended bracing on the plan.
Have you jumped in yet?
