Surface Board Length 1 Year, 8 Months ago  
My deck is going to be 16 ft wide. The plans call for using two 2X6's one at 10 feet and one at 6 feet. In theory it would be easier to use 2"x6"x16'. Can you tell me why the two boards are recommended instead of one?

Could you give me the size of deck (length and width) so I can take a look at it. That's a head scratcher.
