TOPIC: handrail height

handrail height 1 Year, 10 Months ago  
I live in South Florida. I want to build a small sun deck in the backyard not to exceed 18" above grade. For asthetics I do not want to install handrails. What is the Building Code state regarding deck height vs. the requirement for handrails?

Every part of the country is different. I am sorry but I do not know the correct answer to this question. Your best bet is to check with your local building department. Many times they post information like this online.
