Using concrete patio for support. 1 Year, 10 Months ago  
I would like to use my 12 x 12 patio as support for part of my deck. I would have to notch out the 2 x 6 to make it work. Does anyone see any problems doing this. I am open to any ideas.

Using the patio as a base is fine for the blocks. You should not notch the support boards though. This may weaken them.
