L shaped deck two different heights 7 Months ago  
I AM LOOKING TO BUILD AN L SHAPED DECKED BUT WITH MY 4 X 8 BEING HIGHER THAN MY 8 X 20. HOW DO I CONNECT? I HAVE AN IDEA. I'D JUST LIKE SOME CONFIRMATION.

If you have no stairs and the height difference between the decks is only one step the easiest thing to do is to rest one deck on top of the other. Then you can connect the two from the bottom up if you want or use a bracket. The height difference between the deck would be about 7 inches.
