I followed the directions for a 16x16 deck to the 'T' and after I place and attached all my 2x6s I have a 1 1/2" - 2" space left at the end of my deck (basically it's the top of the joist support board that runs perpindicular to my house). Obviously I cant place another 2x6 or even a 2x4 on such a small space. I went and bought a couple 8' 2x2s and they were too small (both height and width)???

Any recommendations?
