Want privacy for hot tub - can't dig posts for roof or wall 3 Years, 5 Months ago  
Anyone figure out any way to add privacy to a hot tub deck without digging separate posts for a roof or walls? The location of my deck makes it very difficult to add posts around it, which is the general recommendation here for adding a roof. I saw this deck deckplans.com/gallery/detail.cfm?gallery.id=7 and like the idea, but also saw on the forum that it's not recommended to attach walls to your deck.

If you just want privacy use a light weight material like canvas or awning materials.
